The Young at Art studios is licensing programs around the country!
Young at Art® is launching a national licensing program. Now is a great time to consider becoming a Young at Art® owner! Because of the
awareness and credibility that the Youngat Art® program has established, our program grows nationally and internationally. You now have the opportunity to grow with us.
What is Young at Art?
Young at Art® is a philosophy that I have developed and refined over forty years as an Art Educator, School Administrator, and author. After twenty years
of teaching art and writing books about children's art I founded Young at Art® in 1984 as a private art school on the upper west side of New York City. That business has grown to include a series of books,
scores of curricula, teacher training programs, and establishment of our new flagship studio in a historic barn in Fairfield, Connecticut.
My dream throughout has been to bring this program to as many children as possible. If you have read one of my books and felt drawn to it's message, and you
share my passion for nurturing creativity in young children, you may want to consider joining the Young at Art® family . Together we can empower young children by helping them find their own individuality. We
help children find the joy that art can give them as it stimulates critical thinking skills, promotes independent thinking and promotes creativity.
How do I know that Young at Art is a quality program?
The Young at Art® toddler art curricula, now called Color Magic and Color Wizardry, received Connecticut's Celebration of Excellence
for creativity in the classroom. Susan Striker was awarded a Distinguished Teacher Award
in the Greenwich Public Schools for the literature based Young at Art® program she continues to teach there. That same program was a component of a reading program recognized with an IRA National Reading
Award. The George M. Estabrook Award is the most recent recognition given to the founder of Young at Art®
